Kenneth Paul "Chuck" Kurecki, 77, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017.

A native of Chicago, he was the son of the late Bernard A. and Helen Kurecki and was also preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Feltman and a step-brother, James Ambros.

Chuck was a retired employee of Peoples Energy Company, a US Marine Corps veteran, member of the Moose Lodge #828 in Chicago Heights, Illinois and the Blue Ridge Detachment #848 of the Marine Corps League.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Phyllis; daughter, Tina Lewis (Chris); sons, Kyle, Michael and Todd (Tani) Kurecki; sister, Bernadette Kurecki and brother, Bernard Kurecki, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A Memory Sharing Service will be Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 2-4 pm at the Lelia Patterson Center, 1111 Howard Gap Road, Fletcher, NC.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Chuck's memory to Four Seasons Compassion for Life, 571 South Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
