Dorothy Grace Rutkowski

Dorothy Grace Rutkowki, 86, of Asheville, died Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Hospice Solace Center. A native of Detroit, MI, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Ethel Vickers Ericsen. She was also preceded in death by one niece and one nephew. Dorothy was an active volunteer for several years with the Basilica of St. Lawrence and Mission Hospitals. She and her husband were active supporters of the arts. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Edward Rutkowski, of Asheville; one sister, Virginia Moore, of Farmington Hills, MI as well as two nieces and two nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Basilica of St. Lawrence at a later date.
