Sammy and I always argued over who was the ugliest. He said I look like Booger O’Shields, I said he looked like Jr. Jackson. When I think of him, I have to smile. RIP, my life long friend.
I sit here writing this with numerous memories that run through my head. Camping, the beach, halloween parties for the kids, family gatherings the list could go on forever. You have always been there with us and for us. As sad as this time is my mind is at peace knowing that you are no longer suffering and have been welcomed to Heaven with open arms by granny and papaw. You will be missed but this isn’t goodbye. I will see you again. Love you!
I worked with Sam at Mission. He taught me everything I know about carpentry and wood. I will always remember him with a big ‘ol smile.

So sorry to hear about my dear, sweet friend, ‘Sambo’. We grew up in the same neighborhood. He was such a cute, sweet, little boy. We moved but, the Jackson’s where just like family. So, we somehow found each other. I still see Sammy laughing at the cookout and many other times. You will always be in my heart, but now you are in GOD’s and dancing with MOM!!!! See you again before too long. We will keep the Family in our Thought’s & Prayer’s.
