Fairview – Richard Steven Williams, Sr., 58, of Fairview, passed from his earthly home and went to his heavenly home on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Williams was born in Sanford, Fl. to the late Alfred and Alice Campbell Williams. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Williams. He worked as a mechanic most of his career and attended Trinity of Fairview Church in Fairview. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife Lourana Marie Yount Williams; a daughter, Heather Balken and her husband, Bob of Fairview; a daughter, Kim Al-Harbi and her husband, Hussein, of Orlando, Fl.; a son, Richard Steven Williams, Jr. and his wife, Donna of Arden and a daughter, Tanya Clark and her husband, Joseph of Leicester; a brother, Ralph Williams and his wife, Debbie of Asheville; thirteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 12:00 pm at Trinity of Fairview with Reverend Stacy Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, May 21, 2012 at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian on Long Shoals Road.

  3. I am so sorry to hear of Steve’s passing. We shared a lot of great hunting times together in the Ocala national forest as young kids. Though I haven’t seen you in many years, I often recall those fun filled days stomping in the woods yelling……whooop whooop for the dogs !! Rest in peace cuz .
