    May the peace of Christ be with you,

  2. Dear Jane, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Your Mom was such a fabulous lady! What a blessing for Mother and me to spend time with your Mother during the time at Givens while Mother was recovering from her broken neck. Wish there had been more time to know her better. All our love, Barbara, Charlie, and Ione

  3. We are so sorry to hear of your mother’s death. It is never easy to lose your mother, even when we know that some day we willl be together again.
    We are not back yet so will miss seeing you and your special family at the funeral.

  4. To the Brown family,
    We will miss your mom’s presence. She was the last of our parents generation. We all have a lot of memories of her and our families. We’re thinking of all of you. Love, all the Brodheads

  5. Heartfelt condolences to each member of this incredible family. Your Mother was a fine inspiration to all of us that she touched, and she touched so many with elegance and grace. She is now walking side by side with our GOD.

  6. To the Brown family,

    My thoughts and prayers are with you over your loss. I will miss my Aunt DJ.

  7. To Janie, Barbie and Buster;
    Our childhood memories are always recalled when the loss of one who used to be part of that childhood leaves us. I left in 1960 when my father, Henry Bartholomew (Bart) died and thus left Florida for many years. My dear mother Edith B.Smith (91 now) is still healthy and doing well in Sarasota. She informed me of your mother’s passing. My condolences to all of you, even your siblings that I did not know. Kick the can, hide and seek will be forever in my heart as will your family. My brothers and I are doing well. We still get to visit Sarasota frequently. I miss climbing up the orange trees and fishing on the sea wall…God Bless
    Rob (Robbie) Bartholomew

  8. Dear Browns: It was with a tear and a smile that I learned of Mrs. Brown’s passing. My Mom and DJ shared many carpools and much laughter, and my childhood was greatly enriched by the time spent with all of you swimming in the ‘backyard’ of your magical home here, and at the Farm, and later as we all grew up. I send you my love and my Deepest Sympathy, Anne

  9. Our deepest condolences to the Brown family.
    D.J. will be remembered as a wonderful and sweet lady, and she will be missed by everyone.
    The Weilbaecher family
