Nelia Ganzon Chisholm

Nelia Ganzon Chisholm, 78, of Asheville, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at StoneCreek Health and Rehabilitation Center. A native of the Philippines, she was a daughter of the late Felix and Dionisia Tuazon Ganzon. She was also preceded in death by husbands John James and Lloyd W. Chisholm; and sister Teresita G. Bautista. Mrs. Chisholm is survived by her sisters Gloria G. Marsosudiro and husband Haryo, Luzviminda Ganzon, Ely Cabrera and husband Abelardo, and Virginia Ganzon Rodriguez and husband Ricky; brother Manuel Ganzon; and a number of nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at St. Eugene Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Patrick Cahill officiating. Interment will follow at Skyview Memorial Park. A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. on Friday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave., after which her family will receive friends until 8:00 p.m.
