Dear Frances was the first to welcome many of us to Crowfields community and always the first to help others. She was a much-loved friend and her sweet smile will be missed by all her friends.
Frances was generous of spirit and heart. With a twinkle in her eyes and a ready smile she always reached out to others with a positive and supportive word for all that she met. Passing along our condolences to all family and friends.
I was graced with the company of Ms. Frances only a few times, but her character shined through the room quickly. A strong, intelligent, compassionate and giving woman, she will be greatly missed by the many she touched. May her Christian nature live on in the legacies she left for us.

We were sorry to learn only yesterday about Frances’ death. We were privileged to be neighbors of Frances for several years at Crowfields, and we were blessed by her kind and loving spirit. She was the first to bring special muffins or treats when we had family tragedies, and she always had a pleasant comment for everyone. She loved her little dog, Skipper; and we often wondered whether she was walking Skipper, or he was walking her through the neighborhood! The world, Asheville, and Crowfields are less rich without Frances; and we will all miss her.
