Sorry for the passing of Charles ( Mama , Aunt Mae,called him Buster ). The last of Aunt Estelle,s and Earl,s children. Charles was a very successful businessman, and probably loved playing Golf more than anyone I ever met. He once gave me a set of his old clubs . Sad occasion for the family, my prayers are with you all at this time.

Jack- How sweet to remember that Dad once gave you a set of golf clubs. I’m sure he hoped you would enjoy playing golf as much as he did. Thank you for your kind words and prayers.
Dear Jo, Tim, Kay, Darlene ( and of course Kelley) plus all the family that extends from each and every one of you –
Your father changed my life, stepped in when I needed a guardian angel (and only many years later did I find out what he had done to be able to help me and my sister) and gave us a refuge from a storm that was all around us at that time. He, with your mother , in their unselfish act in many ways probably saved me at that moment and I will always be eternally grateful.
It has always been with love and respect that I called both of your parents Mom and Dad Darwin and my heart is saddened at his passing only lifted by the thought that he had a full life and his memory will live on in all of us.
Know that I send my love to you all from across the ocean and that I will light a candle in his name here in Belgium this week ( maybe a chapel near a golf course – he might like that).

Darlene, Tim and the rest of ‘the kids’,
Our love and thoughts are with you. We both know what it is like to lose a parent-a rock, a stabilizer to the world that twirls around us. May you be blessed with solace, peace and comfort to know he is now happy and healthy and still remains with you at all times.
