Steven Charles Fisk, 52, passed away Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 at the Charles George VA Medical Center.
A native of San Diego, he was the son of Athena Solomos Fisk of Florida and Guy Fisk (Linda) of Asheville.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 227 Cumberland Avenue, Asheville. Interment will follow in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain with military rites provided by the US Navy Honors Team.
I’m so sorry for your loss of Steven. May the family find comfort in fond memories of him, and in knowing that God himself is ‘near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit.’ (Psalm 34:18) Our loving God has promised to soon ‘swallow up death forever…and wipe the tears from all faces.’
