Asheville - Karil Lynette Kaster, 40, of 202 Carlyle Way, died Sunday, October 6, 2002.
A native of Santa Barbara, California, she was a daughter of Merrill and Karen Kneeland of Sisters, Oregon. She was an accountant and a member of Biltmore Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her fiancée, Michael Bates of Arden and two sisters, Ginger Morrissey of McMinnville, Oregon and Sandy Kennedy of Phoenix, Arizona.
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian conducted by the Rev. Sam McLamb. Her family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home on Long Shoals Road.
Memorials may be made to the Imagine Building Fund, c/o Biltmore Baptist Church, 35 Clayton Road, Arden, NC 28704.

I was one of Karil’s first Yoga instructors at Vision Sports in Fletcher. She was a lovely person with a gentle spirit and a love for Yoga. I will miss her sweetness,her pretty smile, and her eagerness to learn and follow the path of Yoga. My heartfelt sympathy to you, her family. Her Yoga family will dearly miss her as well.
