Thomas Walter Robinson

Thomas Walter Robinson, 56, of Candler, died on Saturday, September 17, 2016. Born in Chapel Hill, NC, Thomas was a son of the late Edward S. and Irene Selway Robinson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, William Edward Robinson. Mr. Robinson served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He also worked at Vulcan Materials for many years, and was a member of Snow Hill United Methodist Church where he had served as Youth Leader. Mr. Robinson is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Moore and her husband Carl. The funeral service for Mr. Robinson will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Snow Hill United Methodist Church with Pastor Dianne Johnston officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors performed by Shaw Air Force Base. His family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
