Margie June Surrett

Margie June Surrett, 72, of Leicester, died on Friday, February 10, 2017. A native of Sandy Mush, Margie was a daughter of the late Orville and Selma Morrow Surrett. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Cleo Reemes, Ronnie Surrett, Clarence Surrett, Shirley Surrett, and Earnest Surrett. She is survived by her sister, Carol Chambers (Max), of Canton; brothers, Dale Surrett (Deborah) and Arnold Surrett (Pat), of Leicester. Margie enjoyed spending her time gardening among the flowers. The graveside service for Ms. Surrett will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Jones Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. The Revs. Bill Brown and Eugene Turner will officiate. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. is assisting the family.
