Matthew Lee Kerley, 26, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 20, 2018. A native of Virginia Beach, VA, Matthew was a son of Malvin Loyd Kerley, Jr., and Lisa Nichole Capps Paxson and husband Rowland Paxson, III. Matthew was a member of the P.B.R. Rodeo, loved to hunt and fish, and loved riding his motorcycle. In addition to his parents and step-father, he is survived by two daughters, Ashlynn and Kristlyn; his sisters, Holly Nicole Kerley and Harlee Faith Parker; brother, Brian Scott Kerley, and nephew, Liam. Matthew's family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Groce Funeral Home to aid with funeral expenses.
