Eustace Terrence Stewart
Fletcher ~ Eustace Terrence “ET” Stewart, 70, of Fletcher, died unexpectedly Friday, February 16, 2018.
Born in Buncombe County and lived in Henderson County all his life, he was preceded in death by his biological father, Robert Lee Stewart; his mother and step-father, Marie Wise Redden and Howard Redden as well as a sister, Cora Ford.
Terrence loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing, Louis L’Amour westerns and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 50 years, Carolyn Sue Howard Stewart; four daughters, Terra Moody (Blaine) of Palatka, FL, Tamara Styles of Fletcher, Tracie Williams (Fred) of Fletcher and Melissa Baker of Asheville; two brothers, Thaylon Stewart of Mills River and Arnold Wise of Hendersonville; four grandchildren, Shelby, Teigan, Elijah and Mini Fred; several nieces and nephews as well as other extended family.
A Graveside Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Tweed’s Chapel Cemetery. His family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Thursday at Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian.
I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr Stewart. I am not sure if you remember me but my last name was Rogers and I lived in Terra and Blaines previous home in Fletcher. Mr Stewart was always so kind and was always working in the yard with a smile on his face. You all are in my thoughts and prayers
Such a shock! I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked with Terrence at Ball for many years. We will miss him at the picnic this year. God bless each of you in your time of grief.
