Betty Banjak, 85, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, October 23, 2018.
She was born in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Raymond and Erna Eldridge and was a graduate of the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in St. Louis, class of 1953. Betty also held a realtor broker's license from the state of Indiana. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Asheville.
Betty was married to George Banjak for 63 years and had a son, Mark Banjak; a daughter Terri Martin; and two grandchildren, Lauren and Keith Martin all of IN.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 3, at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael McFarland officiating. Entombment will be in Lewis Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m.
Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road is assisting the family.
