Guestbook

  1. From 1962-1966, he was my best friend. We lost track of each other in 1966 after I stayed so long in Europe. It was MY loss. A finer son and truer friend you will never find. To learn of this on 14 March 2005 is a total shock! My heart goes out to his family.

  2. I don’t know why I went on Google to look up Norm. I found this news.
I’m deeply saddened. We were in grad school together. He was a dear friend to my wife Annie and me. I had hopes of seeing him again. We wish you and your family all our best. Frank Cressotti Ohio U. 1969

  3. Dear Betty and Alex,

You have been in my thoughts and prayers, and my love is with you always. I always loved Norm’s wit and humor and appreicate the kindness he always showed whenever I saw him at our faculty parties. We will all miss him so much, yet feel great comfort in knowing that he is now whole and without any discomfort. Betty, you know that if there is anything you need or anything I can do for you, all you need to do is ask. Love and blessings to you in the coming days and always. Fondly, Dale

  4. The Balsam Maintenance staff enjoyed working over the years with Norm. Think of him all the time and we’ll miss him. Our prayers go out to the family. Betty if you need anything, give us a call.

  5. Norm Weil was my colleague at Northwest Missouri State from 1978 to 1983, when I left to take another teaching position. He was my best friend among my Art Faculty colleagues. We went on quite a few motorcycle rides in the countryside around Maryville, and we drank a few beers along the way as well, from St Joe to Tarkio. Norm was not a big talker, but when he did speak, he had something real to say. I enjoyed his low-key company for sure. I’m sorry his life was relatively short. But he told me, during the very last time we talked, that he had enjoyed the life he’d had. Godspeed & RIP Norm.
