ASHEVILLE – Donald Dennis Lucy, 72, of Asheville, died Sunday, December 15, 2019 at Oak Manor Rehab Center in Largo, FL.
A native of Wayne County, Detroit, MI, he was a son of the late Joseph and Lillian Naubert Lucy and a marketing manager with a metal company. He was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam war.
He is preceded in death by his wife Carol Ann Lucy and two brothers, Joseph and Robert Lucy.
Survivors include two daughters, Katie Patterson and her husband Chris, and Kelly Lucy all of Asheville; three grandchildren, Cante Thomas, Quay and Khloe Patterson.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Road is assisting the family.
