  1. Many wonderful memories of spending time on Wentworth! She made the best tomato sandwiches (with Fritos!) Took Jody, Jeff, and I to Royal Pines pool…..always had a picnic lunch! I remember she made Jody a smocked dress that was so cute! She’d make hot chocolate after we came in from sledding down the hill! Good times! Good times! I am blessed to have had her in my life growing up! My prayers are with you all. She will live on in your hearts and memories!❣️❣️

  5. Jeff- so sorry for your moms passing. I remember your mom from my days at TC Roberson she was always very kind and carrying. You and your family will be in my prayers

  6. My sincere thoughts and prayers for the family. I feel as if I have known Nannie Sue forever. I met Rex in 1971 and had the privilege to meet some of his family. They have always been very special to me. It saddens my heart to hear of her passing.

  7. Dear Sammy, Jodie and Jeff
What sweet sweet memories I have of Nannie Sue. She made days at Roberson special for many of us, always baking treats for birthdays and some days treats just because. For me it was Rum cake …and cards for every birthday since the long passed Roberson days. So efficient and dependable in her role, students and teachers loved her. I treasure those memories. Rest dear friend. The disease you have battled so long is no longer with you.

  8. To paraphrase James Joyce: “She lived, she laughed, she loved, she left, and now the world will never be the same.” Nannie Sue was a loyal friend over many years, and I enjoyed working with her at Roberson. She was a kind, generous, and thoughtful person, a forever friend. She was devoted to family, and her voice was joyful as she told of their lives. I am grateful that she was in my life.

  9. I remember Nannie Sue back when I was in High School she was always sweet to me and attended all the Basketball games to watch her Daughter Jody play.

  10. My Sister, what love, joy and happiness she brought into all of our lives. I will always cherish the times that we were together, the laughs, the stories and even the sadness that we shared at times, she was always there when I needed to hear her voice. Now that she has left this earthly plane she will be missed but will always be with us in our hearts. That’s where she belongs.
