Sandra Autry Price, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her family.

A lifelong resident of Buncombe Co., Sandra was a daughter of the late Junior Floyd and Emily Hipps Autry. She was a graduate of Lee H. Edwards High School and worked at Square D for over 32 years.

Surviving are her two children, Lewis Price (Selena) and Stacy Wise (Eric); eight grandchildren, Chris Price (Desi), Mary Price, Brookelyn Wise, Peyton Wise, EJ Wise, Cindel Chavers, Heather Pressley, and Christopher Johnson; three great-grandchildren, MaKynna Price, Mason Price, and Holden Price; and two sisters, Nancy Thomas (Jerry) and Patsy Biggs.

The funeral service for Sandra will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Cedar Hill Free Will Baptist Church, 234 Johnston School Rd., Asheville, NC 28806, with the Rev. Roger Boone officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.

  2. Patsy & family of Sandra. I am SO sorry 2 hear & see of Sandras passing. Had already had funeral & burial when I heard. I feel SO bad, I missed it. It wasn t in our paper. Know she went thru alot 4 sometime. Prayers 4 u, know u ‘ll miss her SO much. GOD BLESS!!!!

Goodbye for now, my beautiful Sister.I loved you for 71 years and until the end of time…There were 3 Sisters and now only two…we will forever grieve your absence but are happy you are our perfect guardian angel. No more pain and sorrow but our memories of the fun we had will never be lost… until we are together again love you bunches!!!
