Asheville Butterfly TrailMary Jeanne Scott Kyle, 81, of Salem, SC, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021.
Born February 16, 1940 in Washington State, Mary was a daughter of the late Emery Scott and Kathryn Willoughby. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Kyle Jr., in August.
Mrs. Kyle was a member of Oak Grove Christian Church, and resided in Avery’s Creek for many years.
Surviving are her daughters, Marlene Ball and Juanita Sanders (Steve); sons, Scotty Kyle (Gidget) and Michael Kyle (Nichole); 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 2 in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
