Valentina Volkova, 64, of Asheville, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

Mrs. Volkova was born in Petukhovo, Russia on July 20, 1957, to the late Mikhail Voyevodskiy and Voyevodskaya Pelageya.

Mrs. Volkova is survived by her husband, Nikolay Volkov; daughters, Diana Volkova and Yana Penkov (Nikolay); son, Max Volkov; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Lyubov Price (Monnie), Vera Pasugina and Elena Slasheva; and brothers, Mikhail and Leonid Voyevodskiy.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10, at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.
