Patrick Larry Fowler

Patrick Larry Fowler, 67 years of age, of Candler, NC passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother Jeanne Louise Fowler. He is survived by his father Larry of Asheville, NC.

As a military dependent of his father, he graduated from a military high school in England. He enlisted in the US Army in London, England, and was subsequently assigned as a medical technician to Books Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Following discharge from the Army, Pat attended the San Antonio School of Medicine graduating with an Associate Degree in Nursing. Pat then enlisted in the US Air Force serving at Edwards Air Force Base in California.

After being discharged from the Air Force, Pat moved to Asheville and was employed at the Charles George VA Medical Center as a phlebotomist. He was also a member of The American Legion Asheville Memorial Post 2.

Per Pat’s wishes no service will be held at this time. Private burial will be at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain, NC.
