Dorothy Case Buckner

Dorothy Case Buckner passed away December 21, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Arthur A. and Miller Austin Case. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Buckner Sr and their son, Dewey Buckner Jr; five brothers, Buster, Carroll, Terrell, Carl and Bobby and sisters, Bernita Michales and Becky Taylor.

She was a graduate of Sand Hill High School and retired from Precision Products Performance Center.

She is survived by her son, Stanley (Anita); grandchildren, Gennifer Buckner (Tennessee), Frank Shannon (Katrina) and Zack Sweet; great-grandchildren, Jackson and Mackenzie Sweet; sister, Shirley Wright (James); daughter in law, Nina Buckner and several nieces and nephews.

No funeral services are planned and Groce Funeral Home’s Lake Julian team is assisting the family.
