Flora Morgan Mallonee, 95, wife of the late Clendenon Gaston Mallonee, died Friday, March 14, 2003, in an Asheville nursing center.
Mrs. Mallonee was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Clement and Dona Smathers Morgan. She was retired from Enka and was a member of Montmorenci United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews including Jean Jennings of Asheville.
Graveside services will be at 4:30 pm Sunday at Montmorenci United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Dan Lyons officiating.
Just to let you know that I care. Though I didn’t know Flora well, I still remember ‘Pop’ and he always will be in my memories.
Flora was my mother’s room mate at Aston Park and I loved her very much. My sympathies to all the family members.
