Dorothy F. Jones

Dorothy Frances White Jones, 87, of 77 Maney Avenue, Asheville, passed Saturday, December 8, 2007, at her home. Mrs. Jones was a native of Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Hubert and Florence Allison White. She was married to John William Jones, who passed in 1972. She was a former seamstress and was a member of French Broad United Methodist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Judy DiBacco of Holiday, FL; two sons, Woodrow Marshall Jones of New Port Richey, FL and Randy Jones and his wife, Freida, of Asheville; one brother, Carl White of Asheville; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Her family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Monday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue. Memorials may be made to CarePartners Hospice, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.
