Frank Binns Davis, Jr.

Frank Binns Davis, Jr., 67, of Vanderbilt Apartments, died Friday, July 25, 2003, at his residence. A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Frank B. and Elizabeth Pellettieri Davis, Sr. and was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Cassada Davis, in 1991 and a brother, Richard L. Davis. Mr. Davis was an optician for 35 years and owned Frank B. Davis Optical Company. He was a US Marine Corps veteran and was a former member of St. Eugene’s Catholic Church. He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1695 where he was a past Grand Knight and Faithful Navigator. He was also a member of the Lions Club and several other organizations. Survivors include two sons, Mark B. Davis and his wife Arlene of Weaverville and Timothy R. Davis and his wife Julie of Albuquerque, NM; four grandsons, Justin, Joshua, Mitchell and Kyle Davis and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Lewis Memorial Park.
