  8. Aunt Mildred, You or Mombill were always there for me. You knew Momma and Daddy had a drinking problems. Thank you for taking me away from that. I even want to thank you for all those extremely long walks that you made me and all who entered your home including my cousins share with you. You stretched our legs and endurance. I still remember those chapters of PSALMS that you made me memorize. I know that I am a better person today because of you. I would thank you for the peanut butter sandwiches but you knew I didn’t like them. I remember when you discovered my hiding place under your dining room table. I still love the pineapple sandwiches you introduced me to. I have tried many times over the years to learn to chew and smack gum as you did. You knew that no one could do it better than you and laughed as you did!! Thank you for laughter and love and allowing me to grow. I’m going to miss you!! God Bless!
