Mildred Dill Graham, 82, of 44 Georgetown Drive, Leicester, died Saturday, May 24, 2008, at her residence.
Mrs. Graham was a daughter of the late Ernest and Zella Mae Hudgins Dill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Jack Graham, who died in 2005.
Born and raised in Madison County, she worked with her husband developing a successful dairy, beef and pig farm which also produced tomatoes sold at the local county market. In addition to the farm, Mrs. Graham provided foster care for children in Madison County from 1950-1970. She was a member of the North Carolina Long Term Care Association for 38 years and served as vice president of District 1. She owned and operated eleven family care homes in Buncombe County and cared for people from several states.
Mrs. Graham is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Bradley and husband Michael of Atlanta; sons, Tony Graham and wife Glenda of Asheville and Ronnie Graham of Morganton; grandchildren, Jonathan Bradley, Jessalyn Bradley, Tim Bradley, Ronnie Graham, Jr., Kimberly Solomon, and Randell Taff; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roberts Cemetery in Madison Co.
Her family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service.

Iam sorry to here about Mildred she was alway good to me and my family I rented a home from her in 1993.If I need anything she was always there to help us. She will be miss
I am sorry to hear of mildreds passing she will always have a special place in my heart and will always be aunt mildred to my son .i learned alot from mildred i admired her strength and will always be thankful that she was part of our lives with love to the family
