James, Sandra, & Boys, our prayers and thoughts are with you during this time of loss and grief. The short time I got to sing with Harold and be around him, I felt like I’d known him all my life. I so enjoyed singing with him and he inspired me so much. One good thing in all this, we’ll meet again someday and we can sing all we want to and never have to give up any singer. We love you guys.
James: Harold was one of a kind. The mold was destroyed after he was born. Just yesterday I went to the nursing home to see him. I am so glad I did and said my goodbye as I could see his days here were numbered. Today Heaven gained a wonderful singer and great man. You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless you and may you find peace and confort in his Words.
We are going to miss ‘Pop’. He was one of a kind, most precious and we dearly loved him. He is now in a better place, singing in that heavenly choir and walking and talking with our Lord. Our thoughts and prayers are with you – James, Sandra and boys. We love you all. May God bless you.
James, You and I know Harold was a Master of Harmony, unsurpassed regardless of members he chose to sing with. Only the GOOD LORD counted the Blessings he ministred to our beloved Mountain People. Now he has received his rewards for his Faithfulness. Spreading the Gospel in Song is how he utilized his Gifts and Talents given him by God.
James, I am so sorry for your loss. It is a comfort for me to know that him and daddy (David Kemp) are reunited once again. Harold was so special to me! I will never forget the trips we took down the river and him flipping pancakes in the air while daddy wasn’t looking. He also was a huge encouargement to me as I learned how to play the piano. He never complained about singing ‘At Calvary’ or ‘Jesus Lover of My Soul’ a thousand times because it was the only two songs I knew how to play! He will be greatly missed! You and your sweet family are in our prayers.
Dear Family, We are so sorry for your loss. Heaven is a happier place today and the singing has only just begun. We have sung with Harold many times and did so enjoy it. Harold was truly a blessing. May God Bless all of you. You are in our prayers.
Many wonderful memories I have with Pappaw Parham going to church, camping, hiking, fishing. He was a great man and I wish I could have spent more time with him.The memories I have will never be forgotten.
Harold was such an inspiration to my life. Even when I was just a little child, I can remember him singing. As the years fly by, I heard him sing about a year ago, ‘God Is Great. God is Good’, I’ll remember this the rest of my life. Your family is in my prayers. Know it is a blessing to know that he is before our King.

James and family, Our prayers and thoughts are with you. Brother Harold was such a wonderful man. We admired him so much. I (LaMarr) had known him for many, many years and he had such an impact on my ministry. Heaven is sweeter. What a wonderful day ‘When All Of God’s Singers Get Home.’
Many years ago my family was blessed by having God put Harold in our lives. Memories of his faith and dedication to our LORD will forever be alive. He encouraged my children to sing in the choir, he uplifted them and that put a place in my heart for him forever. He is in heaven now no doubt, and we will miss him, but we must rejoice in his memory. We are sorry for your loss, but God has certainly gained.
Love and prayers,
Terry and Pam Whitt and family
