  6. To Mary and the family we are so sorry to read about Normans death. He was one of the kindest people we ever knew. I have a lot of good memories of Norman when we attended Westwood Baptist. Norman and I played on the softball team. He was a great pitcher and I was the catcher. We won a lot of games. The entire Kuykendall family is a wonderful family with a solid foundation with Christanity. We all can know in our heart that Norman is now in Heaven and we will join him one day for eternity. Mary, we send you our love and condolencies for your great loss.

  8. Dear Mary and Family,
Kathy and I were saddened to hear of Norman’s passing but yet glad to know that he is at home with our Heavenly Father in Heaven. We are praying for you as you mourn his passing!
    Love in Christ,

  9. Such a shock to hear that Norman had left us Friday. Seems like he left this life in the same manner that he lived — just quietly did what he was suppose to do. If everyone could do that — live the full life that God has given us and then pass on without any lingering, knowing where we are headed and that heaven is there waiting for us. I knew Norman only thru contact here at work and he always struck me as a gentleman. Working with Mike and Tim is a direct reflection on how well he raised his children and what his family meant to him. He was a nice man and will be greatly missed.

  10. Mary & Family, I was shocked to hear that Norman has left us to be the Lord, he will be greatly missed. He was a wonderful man and I admired him very much. All our Love, Janet & Tony

  11. Mary, Mike, & Tim:

We were so sorry to hear about Norman, but knowing he has gone to be with the Lord maybe will make it a little easier. Norman was a very fine man with very few words and I think that was why he was such a special person and it was a quiet transition him going from this life into the arms of the Lord. We love you’ll very much, but are unable to get to the funeral today. Michael had 2 clients to do electrical work for, so he figured he would’nt get through in time to get there. Mary even though we didn’t get to see you’ll very much we treasured you’ll friendship dearly. Mike, I am Deborah’s cousin on her dad’s side of the family. If there is anything we can ever do to help you’ll out please don’t hesitiate to call us.

  12. Tim,

So sorry about your Dad. He will be missed by many. Knowing he is with Our Lord is comforting.
You and family are in our prayers.

  20. Ms. Mary and precious family:
It was such a shock to hear of the passing of Mr. Norman. A true gentlemen, one who will be sorely missed. God’s word tells us to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. And we know without a doubt where Mr.Norman is today, finally at home with his Saviour safe and secure. And I imagine he’s kicking up gold dust on the streets of gold. If he could send you all a few words of comfort today I believe it would go something like this. I have arrived safely, I’m having a great time and I sure wish you were here. Love and prayers to each of you now and in the days ahead. We’ll be praying for you….

    Much love,
    Steve and Elaine Sluder

  25. To Mary, Michael, Tim and to all the family of our dear friend, Norman. First of all what a shock. We last saw Norman and Mary, with Perry and Rose about three weeks ago at a eatry after church. It was so very good to see them, and we could have talked forever. Norman Kuykendall was truely a man of God. So kind, so generous, so mild mannered(unless you would call one of his close softball pitches a ball!-Ha)I remember the whole family from Craven Street to Westwood so well. I will always have such fond memories of the Kuykendall family. A good business man, a friend to everyone, a good christian example for us all to follow.Mary, Mary Dot and I will be in prayer for you and your family. I will see you at the service on Tuesday. God bless you and we will be honored to help you in any way we can. Just call us. Your friends, Bill and Mary Dot Waddell
