SUZANNE ELIZABETH SPENCER Suzanne Elizabeth Spencer, 60, of 4 Homewood Drive, Asheville, went to be with the Lord Saturday, December 27, 2008, at St. Joseph Campus, Mission Hospital. Mrs. Spencer was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late E.J. Holden. She was a former bank accountant and she was a member of Merrimon Avenue Baptist Church. She is survived by her mother, Martha Owensby Lopez of Asheville; two daughters, Cindy (Cynthia) Albright and Angela Christensen, both of Glendale, CA; one granddaughter, Sabrina Christensen; two sisters, Betty Potter of Guthrie, OK and Deborah Waltman of Asheville; one brother, Bobby Vassey and his wife, Theresa, of Asheville; an uncle, Bobby Owensby and his wife, Gena, of Asheville, and several nieces and nephews and cousins. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with burial to follow at Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
