Dear Jan, Lauren, and Trey,
I am so sorry for your loss. Throughout the years, whenever I thought of him, I would always smile and think of how caring, generous, and kind he was. His smile would light up a room.
Mr. Trantham was always so proud of Lauren and Trey. Now that we have all grown up, I get reports from my Mom and grandfather when they would run into him around town. He always bragged on Trey and Lauren and would love to pull out his wallet to show pictures of Victor (IV) and Kayden.
He will truly be missed. It is an honor to have known him.
With love ‒
Clair

Dear Jan and Family,
My Mother called me tonight to let me know of Victor’s passing. I was so shocked and saddened. Victor and I have been friends since High School. When my daughter, Jennie, started at Western and it was so hard for me having her so far, Victor came to the rescue and sent Trey to her dorm the day we were moving her in to welcome her. I come to Asheville so often and would always go by the hotel to see him. He will be greatly missed. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

And can it be that in a world so full and busy, the loss of one creature makes a void in any heart,so wide and deep that only the width and depth of eternity can fill it up.’
