Louise Richbourg Stevens

Louise Richbourg Stevens, 85, of 5805 Branchwood Rd., Raleigh, died on Sunday, May 10, 2009, at Rex Hospital, Raleigh. A native of Clinton, SC, Mrs. Stevens was the daughter of the late Walter W. and Alpha Anna Bolt Richbourg. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hugh B. Stevens. Mrs. Stevens was a retired school teacher. She was a member of Groce United Methodist Church. Mrs. Stevens is survived by her daughters, Karen Daniels, of Raleigh, and Harriett Stevens, of Chapel Hill; brother, Walter Richbourg and wife Maxine, of Charlotte; grandchildren, Christine Ray, of Moultrie, GA, and Morgan Hoecherl, of Mars Hill; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service for Mrs. Stevens will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Groce United Methodist Church with the Rev. W. Gerald Davis officiating.
