Odessa Huntley Crook

July 12, 1905 ~ September 12, 1998

A memorial service for Mrs. Crook will be 1t 6:30 pm Tuesday, September 15, 1998, at Calvary Baptist Church Chapel. The Rev. Donald E. Welborn and Rev. Dr. C. Fred Werhan will officiate. Private burial will be at Piney Mountain United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Crook was born in Rutherfordton and was a daughter of the late David M. and Minnie Martin Huntley. She was married to E. Foy Crook, who died in 1956. She was a former member of Hominy Baptist Church where she kept the nursery for many years, and more recently was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Ron Simpkins, and by a grandson, Bryan E. Massie.
