Lois G. Blackwell

January 5, 1907 ~ September 16, 1998

Funeral services for Mrs. Blackwell will be at 4:00 pm Saturday at Groce Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Green Hills Cemetery.

Mrs. Blackwell was born in Asheville and was a daughter of the late William C. and Dora Lawrence Glenn. She was married to D.T. Blackwell, who died in 1981. She was retired after 23 years with Asheville Urological Associates, and was a member of the Eastern Star and of Merrimon Avenue Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann B. Crocker; two grandchildren, James W. Bailey, Jr., and Diane K. Bradley; five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandsons.
