Edith Lueng Glogg

Ia (Edith) Glogg, 63, of 202 Birch Lane, died Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center. Mrs. Glogg was born in Hong Kong and was a member of the SS Joseph and Andrew Eastern Orthodox Church and was active with the WNC Iconography Association. She is survived by her husband, Subdeacon Michael Glogg, two sisters, a brother, and three nephews and one niece. Mrs. Glogg will be taken to SS Joseph and Andrew Eastern Orthodox Church Friday morning where a Liturgy of the Presanctified and Panachida will begin at 4:30 p.m. This will last until approximately 6:00 p.m. at which time the family will greet friends. A funeral service will be held at the church at 11:00 a.m. Saturday followed by interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Fr. John M. Zboyovski will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SS Joseph and Andrew Eastern Orthodox Church, 818 Monte Vista Road, Candler, NC 28715, or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
