Judy Robinson Grider, 53, of 2 Morningside Court, Asheville, died Wednesday, February 17, 1999, at the Hospice Solace Center.

Mrs. Grider was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Lewis and Christine Moore Robinson. She was a salesperson for State Farm Insurance and a former member of ABWA. She was a member of Abernethy United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Dean Grider; a daughter, Cara Grider; a son, Bert Grider; four sisters, Louise Shipman, Peggy Gilbert, Bobbie Kittrell, and Daisy Kugler, and a brother, Bud Robinson.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with Chaplain Jane Curran and the Rev. Dr. Patrick Welch officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Thursday at the funeral home and request that memorials be made to Mountain Area Hopsice, PO Box 16, Asheville, NC 28802.
