Evelyn Irene McMahan, 81, of 11 Short Sluder Branch Road, Leicester, died Monday, March 22, 1999, at the Hospice Solace Center.
She was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Archie and Nola Sharp McMahan.
She is survived by a sister, Idella Daves and a brother, Ray McMahan, both of Leicester.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. Mark Ball and Charles Phillips officiating. Burial will be at Newfound Baptist Church Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
