Lassie Payne Huff

Mrs. Huff was born in Madison County and was a daughter of the late Baxter and Bessie Wells Brown, and was also preceded in death by a son, James D. Payne.  She was a former member of Sand Hill Baptist Church and she had lived in
Florida for 35 years.

She is survived by her husband, Sydney Huff;  a daughter, Wilma Lusk
and her husband Morris of Leicester;  a son, Albert Payne and hs wife, Iva Jean of Asheville;  seven grandchildren, thirteen great- grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.

Graveside services will be  11:00 am Friday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Dr. John T. Tiller officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.

Her family will receive friends from 7 - 8:30 pm Thursday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
