Barbara R. Kelley

She was born in Lockport, NY on January 30, 1949.  She earned an Associate’s Degree in Applied
Sciences from Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College and a Bachelor’s in Allied Health at Mars Hill College.  She devoted her life to working with the elderly population
which was a source of great joy to her and to those she reached out to.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Kerry Russell Kelley;
two daughters, Sherry Kelley of Candler and Melody Kelley Stills of Weaverville; one son, Carl Kelley of Indian Trail; parents, Carl and
Marian Rowland of Fairview; one sister, Janet Haman of Chattanooga, TN; two brothers, Bruce Rowland of Sugarland, TX and Herbert Rowland of Sumter, SC; four grandchildren, Jennifer Johnston, Celia Kelley, Harmony Stills and Serena Stills.

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm Sunday in the Patton Avenue Chapel of Groce Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. D. Bradley Price officiating. Burial will be at Cane Creek Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
