Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Uncle Jerry was the only remaining member of our fathers’ siblings. I have fond memories of how much I always looked forward to his visits with his family while he was in the military. And, then, we looked forward to our visits with him amd Aunt Ann and also Greg and Norma when we visited Candler from South Carolina and Florida. We can always be proud of what a fine man Uncle Jerry was. My prayers are with you Elona, Jim, Norma, Sarah, Marcus, and Greg, Jr.

  2. I will surely miss Uncle Jerry. He was a great friend and mentor. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family.

  3. Jerry-Dad’, is what I called him, and that is what he was to me. His loving smile and constant joking phone conversations will be sorely missed. Elona, you know what I mean on that. He was such a precious person.
Our hearts and thoughts are with the whole family during this time.

  4. Dear ‘E’, Jim and Sarah: Our hearts go out to you. Jerry was one of the finest men we had the pleasure of knowing. He was funny, kind and full of love for you. May God hold you in the palm of his hand. Love Kaye & Don

  5. I have MANY wonderful and happy memories of my beloved ‘Poppa Bear’.
I know he is now in a happy place with his love, Anna (aka Momma Bear)
and son, Greg. All three will always have a special place in my heart and memories…’Betty Boop’

  6. Dear Uncle Jerry–how good it was to see him at his 90th Birthday! He was such a fine person and I have so many memories of him and Aunt Anna. My heart goes out to all his family.
