JOAN E. DOERLER
FAIRVIEW – Joan E. (Gordon) Doerler of Fairview, 63, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Joan is survived by her Husband Robert K., Brother Clinton Jr., Children Robert and Kim, Step Children Cheryl and Kenneth, Step Grandsons Ryan and Steven and Granddaughter Lillyanna.
Joan, a native of Farmingdale, Long Island, NY, retired from Keyspan Energy in 2001 and was active in local church functions and volunteered at Food for Fairview pantry.
Pursuant to her wishes, there will be no funeral services, and her body will be cremated. Burial will be in Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, Long Island, New York.
A memorial service will be held at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, Route 74A East, Fairview, at a date and time to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Food for Fairview, PO Box 2077, Fairview, NC 28730.
