Inis Roberts Robinson, 86, of Asheville, died Friday, November 26, 2010, at Golden Living Health Care. A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Lorenzo Dow and Arie Lavedia Worley Roberts. Mrs. Robinson was also preceded in death by her husband, James Roger Robinson, who died in 2000. She was retired from American Enka Corp. Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Harwood of Leicester; grandchildren, Leah Nicole Harwood of Leicester and Jeremiah James Harwood of Orlando; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Reighanna Wingate; a sister, Edith Rhodarmer and husband Bruce of Jacksonville, NC; brothers, Wade B. Roberts and wife Flora Mae of Asheville, Bob Roberts and wife Hilda of Texas and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday at Green Hills Cemetery with the Rev. Edwin Olson officiating. Memorials may be made to JF Keever Hospice Solace Center, PO Box 25338, Asheville, NC 28813.

  3. I am the daughter of Martha Roberts Anderson I well remeber the family of Uncle Dow,so sorry to read of Inis’ s passing,my thoughts and prayers are with the family my God hold each and everyone thru this time and the days to come

    We wanted to send our condolences for the passing of Inis. We went to visit with her at the health center several times. We know where she will be buried at Green Hills so we will visit the gravesite. We took some pictures of it after they build the fountion for her and took them so she could see it. She was very pleased. We know she is in God’s hands now and she is happy.
