Albert Lee Brackett

ALBERT LEE BRACKETT Albert Lee Brackett, 68, of 105 Nebraska Avenue, Asheville, died Sunday, September 23, 2001, at a local hospital. A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Albert and Sadie Brackett. He was also prceded in death by his brother, Robert. He was retired from International Harvestor where he worked as a mechanic. He had also worked for the City of Asheville and Caustic Soda. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Ann Fairchilds and her husband Michael of Arden and Marcia Lea Brackett of the home; a son, Joey Lee Brackett of Asheville; a brother, Harold and two sisters, Louise and Clara Mae; four grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Noon on Tuesday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 31 College Place, Bldg C, Suite 100, Asheville, NC 28801.
