Marjorie Louise Maier Larsen, 90, of 70 Belleair Road, Asheville, died Saturday, March 2, 2002, in Pisgah Manor Nursing Center.
Mrs. Larsen was born in Chicago, IL, and was the daughter of the late Arthur Theodore and Lillian
Selig Maier. She was married to the late Olav Rasmus Larsen. Marjorie was a former librarian and a lifetime member of the Betsy Ross Chapter of
the Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of Dix Creek Chapel United Methodist Church.
Marjorie is survived by two daughters, Nancy Ottofy of Asheville and Sandy Urkovich of Sanibel Island, FL; four grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 pm Monday at Dix Creek Chapel United Methodist Church with
the Rev. Fred Carpenter officiating.

Dear Nancy and Sandy, Thank you for notifying me of Aunt Marge’s death. What wonderful memories we have of all of you during our growing up years! As I look at Aunt Marge’s photo on the webpage, I can see her in Arlington Heights. Nancy, when I read your note, I could hear her giggle!
