Dale Luther, 63, of 154 Candler Knob, died Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center.
He was the owner of Dale's Auto Repair and a native of Buncombe Co. He was a son of the late Pearlee Luther and Jack Luther. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Christine Gosnell.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kathy Luther; son Tim Luther; granddaughter Tanya Luther; and a sister, Geneva Roberson.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Green Hills Cemetery, with the Rev. Homer Tweed officiating.
His family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
