Adealee LaShay Hensley, infant daughter of Brittany Hensley of Leicester, died Sunday, December 3, 2006, at Mission Hospitals Memorial Campus.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her father, Jeff Sanders, of Asheville; maternal grandmother, Vicki Hyatt, of Leicester; maternal grandfather, Leonard Hensley and wife Karma, of Swannanoa; paternal grandmother, Kathy Curtis, of Weaverville; great-grandmother, Doris Curtis, of Weaverville; great-grandmother, Jeanette Hyatt, of Leicester and her late husband, Max Hyatt; great-grandmother, Lou Hensley, of Swannanoa, and her late husband Wayne Hensley; great-great-grandmother, Mary Lee Fender, of Alexander, and her late husband Raleigh Fender; aunts, Katie Hensley, Bethany Lehman, and Tyree Phillips; great aunts, Sherri Cole and Cissy McMahan, and her son, Dylan; and godfather, George Carroll.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends 7:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue.
Memorials may be made to the Adealee Hensley Fund, in care of Bank of Asheville.

Adelea was such an angel..she touched so many peoples lives in such a short time. She will be in my heart forever. All my love goes to Brittany and Vicki. My whole family sends their condolences.

Im sorry for your loss and the pain you are facing. Her time here was short but know she is with God and though it is the most difficult thing to understand why a child be taken from us. Please take comfort in knowing she fullfilled the purpose for which God had intended for her and now she is with him. Trust in God that he is all knowing and his plan though we dont always understand is truly for the good of the lives she touched. Best wishes in your healing. God is with you and loves you.
