  1. Amy C. Morgan

Loved Afton dearly! Such a great friend & mentor to me. Most of all, appreciated the Christian example she always was. She is now truly at home with our Lord & Savior. Meet you on the other side, Afton!

  2. Kristy, Caroline, Maisy and family
So very sorry to hear of your Mom (Grandmother’s) passing. Sending love, hugs and prayers to each of you.

  3. Family,
Afton always would greet you with a smile on her face. She always had time to talk and be a true friend. Heaven has a beautiful new voice in the choir. Love and prayers to all of you during this time of grief.

  4. Dear Girls, I just learned about Afton’s passing. Please know that you and your families are in my prayers. She was such a talented, caring friend and colleague. We met at a professional association meeting almost 20 years ago. She taught the medical coding classes I took at AB Tech & was so knowledgeable, I asked her to teach the online medical coding classes for the HIT Program at CPCC in Charlotte. With sympathy, Marty Long

  5. I just heard of Afton’s passing today. I live in Hendersonville, and don’t get the Asheville paper. Your Mom was a very special person. I’ve been to her house a few times to work on Association activities. She was a special friend. I even knew her when she worked at Park Ridge Hospital. I love the picture you have for your mom. That is the way I remember your Mom. She always had a smile on her face. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you.
