Alexander B. Farlinger

ALEXANDER B. FARLINGER, JR. Alexander Brodie Farlinger, Jr., 79, formerly of 15 Hillside Terrace, Asheville, died Tuesday, November 11, 2003. Mr. Farlinger was born in Cornelia, GA, and was a son of the late Alexander B. Farlinger, Sr. and Selma Scott Farlinger. He was formerly employed with the National Climatic Center, Weather Records as a computer programmer and was a former member of Malvern Hills Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his sister, Frances Farlinger of Asheville. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas B. Tilley officiating. Burial will be at Green Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Malvern Hills Presbyterian Church, 2 Bear CReek Road, Asheville, NC 28806.
