Alice Case Lowery, 71, of High St., Canton, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at the John F. Keever Hospice Solace Center.
A native of Hendersonville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Claude and Ruth Suttles Case. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Edward Lowery, and by a brother, Alfred Case.
Mrs. Lowery worked as a CNA. She was a member of Canton First Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Karen Russ; sons Mack L. Lowery and Kirk Lowery and wife Patricia; grandsons Chris and Corey; great-granddaughter Lilly; sister Alma Price; and brother Allen Case.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home, with the Rev. Charlie Sams officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Her family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
